Default inequality check

|x-2|(greater than and equal to) 4

= -2 (greater than and equal to) x (greater than and equal to) 6

is this correct? thanks u

and

1 (less than or equal to) | x + 2 | (less than or equal to) 4

= -1 (less than or equal to) x (less than or equal to) 2

Default inequalities

the 1st one is right but you messed up the sign a number can't be greater than 6 and less the -2.so the answer is: -2(less or equal than)x(less or equal than)6

the 2nd one...you have to break it down by two different
the 1st break down is (x+2)(greater or equal than)1 the brackets mean absolute value
when you solve this one you get -3(less or equal than)x(less or equal than)-1
the 2nd break down is (x+2)(less or equal than)4
when you solve it, you get -6(less or equal than)x(less or equal)2
now you look for the common between these two you will find -6(less or equal than)x(less or equal than)-3(u) 1(less or equal than)x(less or equal than)2
U means union
