My advice is to first multiply the equation by 10:

2s^s - 10s - 32 = 0.

Now divide the equation by 2:

s^2 - 5s - 16 = 0.

Now use the quadratic formula to solve for s.

thank you I understand that now, what is confusing me is say u multiply everything by 5 at the begining u get that answer... but if you do it with out multyplying you should get the same answer at the end "just 1/5" but you dont

The answer is unchanged by multiplying by 5. You don't get 1/5 of anything.

The reason I suggested doing this is that it's easier to substitute integers into the quadratic formula than numbers like 0.2 and 3.2. But use the original numbers and you get the same answer (if you don't make mistakes).
