Default fraction into decimal

hi i got 3/8 and i need to make it in to a decimal. how do i do this.

Get your calculator and type 3/8. You can also use the Google Calculator for it, just type 3/8 in the search field (link). By the way you divide it by hand (If you don't know check this.)

You can only show work by writing the long division which I can't explain better than Wikipedia.
