Default Could any one help me with some graphing and equations?

Hey you guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this page?
I'm confused on how to do these problems, it looks familiar, and I probably have done it before, but I've forgotten how to do them =x. Any help you guys could give me would be great. Thank you so much!

(1) Equation of line

(2,4) with m=1/2

do u know this formula :

y-y_1=m(x-x_1) ?

If so , just do some appropriate substitution

y-4=1/2(x-2)

y=1/2x+5

Can you try (2) ?

For the very first part ,

(1) pick any points that the line passes through , lets say (1,2)

And its gradient is 1 . i found this by drawing triangle , you should know this .

Then use the formula again , y-2=1(x-1)

y=x+1

In standard form , it would be y-x-1=0
