How to integrate the equation below? thx i am confused and my brain is filled with murky glue!

Since you have a sum, integrate each term separately:

$\int {\sec x\,dx} = \int {\sec x \cdot \frac{{\sec x + \tan x}}{{\sec x + \tan x}}\,dx} .$

And for the another piece $\int {\tan x\,dx} = \int {\frac{{\sin x}}{{\cos x}}\,dx} = - \int {\frac{{(\cos x)'}}{{\cos x}}\,dx} .$

$\int sec(x)+tan(x)dx = \int \frac{1+sin(x)}{cos(x)}dx$

A good way to start with these is to put everything into sines and cosines.
