Unhappy Confused by integration!

How to integrate the equation below? thx i am confused and my brain is filled with murky glue!(

(secx+tanx)dx (sorry the front symbol i dont know how to type in)

Since you have a sum, integrate each term separately:

\int {\sec x\,dx} = \int {\sec x \cdot \frac{{\sec x + \tan x}}{{\sec x + \tan x}}\,dx} .

And for the another piece \int {\tan x\,dx} = \int {\frac{{\sin x}}{{\cos x}}\,dx} = - \int {\frac{{(\cos x)'}}{{\cos x}}\,dx} .

\int sec(x)+tan(x)dx = \int \frac{1+sin(x)}{cos(x)}dx

A good way to start with these is to put everything into sines and cosines.
