Writing the scores out as
0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1,
3, 3, 3, 3, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 9, 9, 9
and going to the one in the middle might help. But obviously this is not practical when the number of data is large ....
Add up the frequencies. There are 23 scores. The median is the middle one, that is, the 12th. Moving along the frequencies, the 12th
ordered (from smallest to largest) score is 3.
Apply the definition of range: Largest - smallest = 9 - 0 = 9.
You need to go back to your class notes and/or textbook and study as many examles as possible.
