Default Tutorials?

i saw few tutorials in this board, like the Differential Equations tutorial and a tutorial on delta stuff from Calculus....they were very informative and helpful.

So i was wondering, why don't we have more of those? I'm sure members here would be willing to put a decent tutorial on topic of their confidence. If anything, i myself could give a few try...although i'm newb at all this

Thanks for this suggestion.

I think one of the main reasons we don't have very many tutorials is because we, the staff, are very critical of the level of work that should go into one. Writing a good tutorial is actually much harder than it seems. Another reason is most likely that the staff and senior members are always quite busy with work of some sort and don't have the time to devote to a proper tutorial. If you'd like to attempt one on a subject of your choosing, by all means go ahead. Just know that the staff will have to review it before it goes up officially.

Once my exams are over, i might give it a try. I'll prolly write on some particular topic(s) of Calculus I or maybe II...will help me refresh the material.

k i'm free now.

I'm thinking about writing a tutorial on different ways of integration (similar to Differential Equation tutorial we have now).

I'll start working on it asap...so lemme know if i need to get send someone a layout or something for approval.

You will definitely need approval before we sticky it or label it a tutorial. When you're done writing it, PM it to me and the staff will look it over. Good luck!

rubix, if you fancy doing something about finding the surface area when integrating a parabola, something like that would be good
