sstecken is on a distinguished road
Default Normalization prior to ANOVA

I have a data set, specifically, the following:

Bob Terminator 152.0
Bob Synthetic 135.0
Bob Real 144.0
Jim Terminator 85.0
Jim Synthetic 67.0
Jim Real 78.0
Don Terminator 98.0
Don Synthetic 88.0
Don Real 99.0
Ike Terminator 80.0
Ike Synthetic 48.0
Ike Real 62.0
Sam Terminator 43.0
Sam Synthetic 30.0
Sam Real 43.0

How do I normalize the third column prior to doing an ANOVA analysis?

Thanks

1) Why do you believe normalization is necessary?
2) Subtraction of the residuals from the other two groups might be a way to go.

What are your known options?
